跨境民族，中国境内主要分布在吉林、黑龙江、辽宁三省，集中居住于图们江、鸭绿江、牡丹江、松花江及辽河、浑河等流域。以轻盈明艳、翩翩宜舞为特色的朝鲜族女服，上装为笼袖短衣，下装为细褶宽裙，一短一长，一张一弛，和谐统一。胸前领条飘逸，更显灵秀。男服以肥大的“跑裤”和船型鞋为特色，上衣多为浅色，外罩一深色坎肩，显得稳重大方。
The Korean people living in China are mostly situated in Jilin, Heilongjiang and Liaoning provinces. Light and brightly coloured clothes are characteristic features of the clothing worn by Korean women. The clothes consist of a curved sleeve short jacket (jeogori) and a thin pleated broad skirt (chima). There is harmony and unification in both the short and long garments and tension and slackening of fabric. The beautiful collar resting over the chest drifts elegantly away. The clothing worn by Korean men is characterised by roomy trousers (known as baji) and boat-shaped shoes (called kkotsin). The top part (sokgui) is mostly pale in colour and covered by a dark sleeveless jacket (jeogori).

The Korean Jeogori
朝鲜族妇女传统上衣，从高丽朝开始，就流行衣长到胸下部，以飘带取代腰带，白色布条装饰领边的样式，并逐渐形成鱼肚形长袖，袖口窄，衣裾短的“则羔利”样式。
This traditional upper jacket originated in the Goryeo dynasty. Originally, the jackets reached to below the chest, white strips of cloth decorated the collar and a ribbon was used to replace the need for a waist belt. All of these characteristics gradually changed to form the contemporary shorterjeogori which has fish belly long sleeves with narrow cuffs.

Men’s Clothing
朝鲜族男子服装一直变化不大，民间传统的男装多为白色，上衣短，裤长且肥大，裤口系带，外套深色坎肩或有布袋、纽扣的斜襟长袍，足登船型鞋，鞋头翘起，头戴黑笠礼帽，礼帽以马鬃和竹条制作，到20世纪初变成短顶窄檐型，平民也可戴。
Korean men’s clothing has not changed a lot. Traditional popular men’s clothing was mostly white and consisted of short tops, long roomy trousers which were tied-shut around the ankles, a dark sleeveless jacket or a robe with a slanted buttoned lapel and boat-shaped shoes with raised fronts. A black cylindrical hat made of horse mane and bamboo strips with a broad brim was also worn. However, by the early twentieth century, the hat was lowered and brim narrowed, making it more suited to the populace.
